Privacy Policy

Gatherwell respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This policy explains the information we may collect when you visit this website, create an account, join the community, make a purchase or communicate with us, together with how that information may be used, stored and disclosed.

By using the website and related services, you acknowledge that you have read this policy. This policy does not govern organisations, websites or services that Gatherwell does not own or control.

You can browse many areas of the website without identifying yourself. When you use features such as account creation, community access, contact forms, courses or purchases, you may choose or be required to provide personal information.

Our systems may also collect technical information automatically to keep the website secure, understand performance and identify potential misuse.

We use personal information only where there is a relevant operational, contractual, legal or consent-based reason to do so. Information may be combined or aggregated where appropriate, provided the result does not identify you personally.

Depending on your location and how you interact with Gatherwell, processing may be based on your consent, the performance of a contract or steps requested before entering a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, or a legitimate interest that is not overridden by your rights.

Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw that consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before the withdrawal.

The website may use cookies and similar technologies for security, essential functionality, preferences and performance measurement. Your browser may allow you to reject or remove cookies, although some features may then work differently.

Analytics tools may collect standard usage information to help us understand how the website performs. If you subscribe to updates, messages should identify the sender and include a way to stop non-essential marketing communications.

Where payment is required, a third-party payment processor may collect the information needed to complete the transaction. Its handling of that information is governed by its own privacy terms.

We may share limited information with service providers that support hosting, authentication, communications, analytics, payments, storage, security or customer support. They should receive only the information reasonably required to perform their role and may also be required to process it under contract or law.

Information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to provide a requested service, complete a transaction, comply with law, respond to valid legal process, investigate fraud, protect rights or safety, or support a business reorganisation such as a merger or sale.

Because online services may use providers in different countries, information may be transferred outside your home jurisdiction. Where required, reasonable legal and organisational safeguards should be used for those transfers.

Personal information should be kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, security and dispute-resolution needs. Aggregated information that no longer identifies an individual may be retained for analysis.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so you should also protect your device and account credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.

Your rights depend on where you live. They may include asking whether information is being processed, requesting access or a copy, correcting inaccurate information, requesting deletion or restriction, objecting to certain processing, withdrawing consent and requesting data portability.

Residents of the EEA, United Kingdom, California and other jurisdictions may have additional statutory rights, including the right to contact the relevant privacy regulator. We may need enough information to verify your identity or authority before completing a request.

The website and services are not intended to collect personal information knowingly from children who cannot legally consent to its processing. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted personal information should contact us so the situation can be reviewed and appropriate action taken.

This policy may be updated as the website, services or legal requirements change. The updated version becomes effective when published unless a later date is stated. Where a change is material, an additional notice may be provided where reasonably practical or legally required.

If you have a question, concern or request about this policy or the information held about you, contact Gatherwell through the website. Please provide enough detail for the request to be understood, but do not send passwords or full payment-card information.
